Practice Managers
Our practice managers play a key role in ensuring the surgery runs smoothly and that patients receive safe, effective, and high-quality care. They work behind the scenes as well as alongside the clinical and administrative teams to make sure everything functions efficiently.
Their responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day operations – overseeing the smooth running of appointments, services, and clinics.
- Staff management – supporting, recruiting, and training our practice team so we can deliver the best possible care.
- Patient experience – listening to patient feedback, helping resolve concerns, and working to improve our services.
- Quality and safety – ensuring the practice meets NHS standards, legal requirements, and best practice guidelines.
- Finance and resources – managing budgets, systems, and resources so the practice can continue to serve the community effectively.
- Supporting clinicians – enabling doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to focus on patient care by providing strong organisational and administrative support.
While practice managers are not medically trained and cannot provide medical advice, they are central to making sure your experience with the practice is positive, safe, and well-coordinated.

They will ask you a small amount of personal information about your medical condition – this information is used to ensure your call is dealt with by the correct Clinician and assist fellow Healthcare Professionals who work within the Practice to manage your healthcare and well-being.
