The Neaman Practice recognises that it is very frustrating for patients who are kept waiting beyond their appointment time.
Whilst our doctors make every effort to keep to appointment times there will always be circumstances when this is not possible. Patient care is paramount and where necessary our patients will always be given the time they need. Good clinical care will not be compromised and will not be rushed.
Our reception staff will endeavour to keep patients informed, and where possible on arrival if a doctor is running more than 30 minutes late.
What patients can do to help:
- Please do not bring other family members to YOUR appointment for them to be seen. Each patient needs a separate appointment.
- If you have a long list of things to discuss, please recognise that the appointment is only 10 minutes long and it may be necessary for the doctor to ask you to make another appointment to discuss your remaining issues or where possible please ask receptionist to book double appointment.
Hopefully by working together we can reduce the time our patients are kept waiting whilst still keeping the high quality of patient care our patients expect.
